Touhou is all about girl x girl, and right now we have like 90% of the doujins released in Comiket 82 being either “shady-faced anonymous men” raping the hell out of the “suddenly weak” girls, or some other bullsh*t easy-modo crap like “Touhou girls becoming sluts and cannot live without anonymous shady-faced men and their cocks” without actual plot involving other Touhou girls…
Hell, it is always the same uncreative plot involving “anonymous men raping Touhou girls” and not awesome gems like the last 3 Touhou doujins that desudesu translated…
There are a ton of Touhou crack-pairings left untranslated since most commissioners nowadays hate futa or yuri in Touhou doujins…
The last one I commissioned was that lulzy “Meiling x Yuugi” one way back last year…
I hope more commissioners in the future do not take the “easy-modo” route and go for “normal (yuri)”, “hard (futa)”, or even “lunatic (futa/yuri with Touhou-esque plot and endings)”…

I totally agree. I personally don’t know why people hate futa, it doesn’t have to be /d/ style, but 2 naked touhous does sound better to me than one. The worst about “shady-faced anonymous men” doujins is that most of the time the girl could be replaced with any touhou and it would make no difference or the plot is about one character trait that has been used a million times, like reimu is poor und sells her body for money or sanae is a slut. It’s not like it is impossible to make a good doujin that way, there are doujins that look just amazing and those that utilize the faceless guys and the involved girl in a good way, like in doujins with Satorin and sin sack people.
In some way the bad doujins exploit the popularity of touhou, it’s like the apple symbol, you can put it on everything and people will still buy it.
I remember that “Meiling x Yuugi”, was funny even untranslated. Reminds me that I should commission that doujin in which Cirno is totally badass and bites some rape guys dick off. One would think that such a badass doujin would get translated really fast, but it’s been quite some time since the C81.

Given proper settings and scenarios, the mood of a regular straight Touhou doujin can be a good read, but most of them as we all observed are the same thing over and over again…Like every COD game that comes out every year…
I think it is high-time I start commissioning Touhou crack-pairing doujins again after a year of absence…
Fall sounds like a good time to start when everything has calmed down…

Actually, I think a thread about crack-pairings would be hilarious. Taking two random touhous and try to make a story up isn’t easy and would lead to some funny plot. For example something like Mokou x Satorin or Rumia x Murasa, those would be near impossible to explain.
